How do I pair with my partner?
On one phone, open Otay and tap 'Send invite'. Share the invite code or link however you like — iMessage, AirDrop, anything. Your partner enters it under 'I have an invite', and you're paired.
Why did an older memory disappear?
On the free plan, photos and memories are kept for 30 days and then removed. Otay Premium keeps everything for as long as your subscription is active. On either plan, you can save any memory to your phone's photo library at any time.
How do I unpair?
In Otay, go to the Us tab → Unpair at the bottom, and confirm. This unlinks the two accounts and removes the shared memories.
My partner's changes aren't showing up
Otay syncs over the internet. Pull down to refresh on the Memories tab, and make sure both phones have a connection. If it's still stuck after a few minutes, email us.
How do I cancel Otay Premium?
Otay Premium is billed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Otay, and cancel there. You'll keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to the Us tab → delete account. This removes your account and your memories from our servers. Email us if you'd like a hand.
