How do I pair with my partner?
On one of your phones, open Otay and tap 'Invite her'. Share the link over iMessage, AirDrop, or however you usually send things. Your partner taps it, the app opens, and you're paired.
What if my iCloud fills up?
Otay uses iCloud to store your photos, so if your iCloud is full, the app can't save new memories. Settings → Apple ID → iCloud shows where your storage is going. Upgrading to iCloud+ ($0.99/mo for 50GB) fixes it comfortably.
How do I unpair?
In Otay, go to the Us tab → Unpair at the bottom. Confirm twice. This removes the shared zone from both devices. All shared memories are deleted.
My partner's changes aren't showing up
CloudKit usually syncs within 30 seconds, but can be slower on poor networks. Close and reopen the app. If still stuck after a few minutes, check that both phones are signed into iCloud and have internet.
I lost my photos
Photos live in the shared iCloud zone owned by whoever sent the original invite. If that person deletes the app or the pairing, the shared data goes with them. Reach out to us and we'll help troubleshoot.
